History  

The Maunz Company was established in 1924 by William C. Maunz, a plumbing and heating contractor, in Buffalo NY.

Do You Remember all those Stories about Stoking the Coal Furnaces and Filling the Coal Bins? The Maunz Mission back then was converting the existing Coal heating systems to new modern Automatic Gas and Oil fired equipment. We sold Convenience and Comfort when oil was only a nickel a gallon. When the Wars came along there was a shortage of materials and fuel, and we saw a need for improved efficiency. The Maunz Company became well known for improving the efficiency of Homes, Businesses and Churches.
